As hard as it might be to believe, this is a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge from the rooftop of my penthouse apartment. Of course, I took it with a really good digital camera so that might be why it appears so close. It is in fact, quite a ways away. Anyway, during the day it doesn't look very golden... it looks rather orange. At night though, with the lights and various levels of smog and mist... it looks very golden. Like something out of El Dorado. Don't you wish you could live here?
