Now for something completely different...
This past weekend I ran. I ran like a Mexican running from the INS. But instead of ending up on a bus in transit to the Immigration processing facility in San Ysidro, California, I ended up at Left of Albuquerque eating steak tacos and tossing back margaritas. All part of my plan to run a marathon this summer (stay tuned for details). I've always liked running and for some reason, lately, I like it all the more. Could be the weather or the fact that somewhere under the soft underbelly of my man fat, I have a six pack that was stored sometime in 1987 and hidden from view. It's coming back, slowly, but indeed, it is coming back.
On an unrelated note, you should make Dopey Nowhere one of your consistent reads. I'd say daily but he doesn't update often enough to warrant it (hint... hint...). By far one of the most entertaining reads in blogdom and his attitudes closely mirror mine. Funny as watching a person accidentally slam into a glass door, his writing leaves me with sore sides. He gets my vote for one of the best writer's no one has ever heard of... until now. I'm on a mission to get this guy the accolades and attention he deserves...
