On my walk to work this morning, I took the time to take some pictures of my neighborhood. I'll post them later tonight when I get home but I just want to go on record as saying that San Francisco is beautiful in the morning. Today it was bright, sunny and warm. You might think that it is unnecessary to use all three words to describe a day here in SF but you'd be mistaken. San Francisco is notorious for it's random weather. You might wake up to find the sun spilling into your room only to find the temperature outside is in the 50s. Or you might find the sun out but find that you need to use a flash to take any photographs. It's weird, I know but today was all three and I took some great snaps of my immediate neighborhood looking down Union street, down Leavenworth toward Alcatraz and even took a snap of the Hyde Street cable car filled with early morning tourists.
The picture on the right is of the pineapple fields on Maui. Check out the rainbow! I love digital cameras!
